RMS Leinster – The Forgotten Tragedy

On October 10th 1918 the mail boat, the Leinster was sunk not far from Dun Laoghaire with the loss of over 500 lives.

This book written by Carmel Uí Cheallaigh and wonderfully illustrated by Jimmy Burns tells the story for children. The book is available in an English language version and an Irish language version.

The book was launched in the LexIcon in Dun Laoghaire on 25th September 2018.
